The Opportunity:

As a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing high-quality technical solutions based on business requirements. The role includes end-to-end project involvement and support activities, working closely with offshore, onsite, and client teams. You’ll participate in development and support engagements, ensuring adherence to coding standards and delivering quality work within timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and create unit test scripts based on functional design documents.
• Follow prescribed coding standards during all development activities.
• Prepare quality deliverables as per project schedules and timelines.
• Assist business users during design phases, functional unit testing (FUT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Create unit test cases for technical components.
• Support end users in resolving incidents within prescribed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Work in shifts as required for support engagements.
• Collaborate with offshore, onsite, and client teams as part of project execution.
• Be willing to travel onsite for short-term or long-term assignments as needed.
• Act as a liaison with clients to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementations or support phases.
• Gain experience working with various SAP modules, such as FICO, MM, SD, PS, PP, and PM.

Reports, ALV, User Exits, Enhancements, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Module Pool Programming, BADI, BAPI, Function Modules, OOPS ABAP, BDC, SAP Notes Implementation, LSMW, SAP Life Cycle Implementations

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, support, or implementation projects.
• Proficiency in Reports, ALV, User Exits, Enhancements, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts.
• Experience with Module Pool Programming, BADI, BAPI, Function Modules, and Object-Oriented Programming in ABAP.
• Knowledge in BDC, implementing SAP Notes, and LSMW.
• Extensive experience across analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Completed at least two full SAP life cycle implementations (end-to-end).
• Good communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work in an onsite-offshore model.
• Must be self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to deliver high-quality solutions independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional / Niche Skills:

Experience in at least one of the following: CRM Technical, SAP HANA, Mobility, PI-PO, Web Dynpro

Good to Have:

• Experience with technical upgrades and SPDD/SPAU conflict resolution.
• Experience in working under CMMI-compliant processes.
• Onsite experience and client-facing exposure.
